Hand-built cabins, grist mills, and whiskey stills characterized Rock Castle Gorge, a mountain community displaced by the Blue Ridge Parkway in the 1930s. Dr. Ralph Lutts will show an award-winning film and discuss this loss of place and culture in the not-so-empty wilderness. 410-208-4014.
